4A Class students: Click here for Class Material

A variety of reading materials are collected and listed here for your use in order to improve your reading skills in Japanese. Each article is prepared in three different formats: original text; text with furigana; and text with Japanese-English dictionary. More recent articles, however, come with two formats: original text and text with pop-up dictionary.

First, make sure that your computer can handle texts in Japanese. Then, go to the list and click on the title of the article you would like to read.

How to Install Japanese Characters

You need Japanese fonts in your system in order to view Japanese characters (Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji) properly. You can download the Japanese fonts from the following sites.

Windows Vista/7 users
